International House has a reputation for its exceptional

The school in Bath has
a Director of Studies leading a team of qualified teachers.
The emphasis is on building confidence and developing
fluency in a lively and authentic language context. At the
end of the course all students are given a Certificate of
Attendance and a Progress Report. |

At
IH Bath we offer the following courses for adults:
- Full and half day general English courses (Intensive
20 and 30).
- Academic year courses.
- IELTS preparation course.
- English plus voluntary work.
- Combined Intensive English Courses for combining general
English language tuition with more specialised individual
tuition.
- Mini-group option - following the Intensive 20 programme
each morning, then afternoon study in small groups (July
and August only).
- Individual courses, for students who have only a short
time to study in England.
- 50 plus Vacation course, aimed at older students.
- Teachers' Courses.
- Mini Study Tours - Short package (6 and 13 nights) programmes
for student groups throughout the year except July and
August.

- Access to activities' programme with at least one optional

- Social events managers who organise a wide range of cultural
and social activities, theatre, music, sport and nightlife

- small groups (a maximum of 12 students in the intensive
classes)
